Director Marc Perez of Sirk Productions was nominated for a 2018 New York Emmy Award for the documentary “The Champion: A Story of America’s First Film Town”! The film was produced by Sirk Productions in collaboration with the Fort Lee Film Commission. The announcement was made this morning at the Himan Brown Studios at CUNY TV.

A feature documentary directed by Kristian Fraga. On the eve of the publication of their book The Sopranos Sessions, TV critics Alan Sepinwall and Matt Zoller Seitz meet at Holsten’s in Bloomfield, New Jersey, the location of the controversial last scene of The Sopranos. Their wide-ranging conversation covers television, movies, psychiatry, gangsterism, their 20-year friendship, and their experience covering the series for The Star-Ledger of Newark, the newspaper that Tony Soprano picked up at the end of his driveway.
Sirk has expanded their two year relationship with Cappen for web + app development and design. Cappen is a creative agency capable of adapting to continuous change. The videos feature Amber, the Vivitar Girl, in various scenarios that demonstrate the fun ways that Vivitar products go with her lifestyle.
